Structure

NSCL operates from one site that is located in Damascus, the capital of the Syrian Arab Republic. It also uses a mobile car to provide calibration services for customers at their premises.
The Laboratory comprises three metrological divisions, each of which comprises one or more sections, as follows:
1) The electrical standards division: It comprises the direct current (DC), alternating current and time and & frequency (TF) sections, as well as a section for calibrating electrical measuring instruments (MI).
2) The thermal standards division: It only comprises one section at the moment, the temperature & humidity (TH) section.
3) The mechanical standards division: It comprises the mass, dimensional metrology and pressure sections.
