NSCL can provide mobile calibration services, i.e. service customers at their premises, using the mobile station especially manufactured for the Laboratory by Mitsubishi Motor Company. The station is equipped with an AC power generator and its body is thermally isolated to maintain the internal temperature, which is controlled via an air conditioning system. Belts and dampers are used to secure and protect the measurement standards and other equipment installed inside the station.
